DALLAS DHU IS MORE THAN A HISTORIC SITE…
…it’s soon to be a working Speyside distillery brought back to life. Step inside and you’ll find an original mash tun, six original washbacks, an antique spirit safe and a pair of copper stills, carefully preserved.
Dallas Dhu Distillery features original floor maltings, that were once used and will be used again down the line. Visitors can rake the barley and experience the life of a distillery worker.

Visitors can follow the journey of Scotch whisky from grain to glass. From malting and mashing to distilling and filling casks, every stage of production is on show. The slow, traditional methods used at Dallas Dhu mean there’s always something to see, hear and learn.

Scenic Route By car
1 – From Forres head out the Grantown Road towards the A940. This is the road you travel if you are coming from Grantown-On-Spey.
2 – Once you have left Forres drive for around 3 miles and take the 3rd turning on the left.
3 – Drive straight for a further 2 miles.
4 – Turn right and immediately left into Dallas Dhu Distillery.
